Celebrate the Irish

Scribbled Lives Week 12—Celebrate the Irish. This week’s prompt calls us to use some green to embellish a text with an Irish connection.

“Be Thou My Vision” is a song rooted in medieval Celtic Christianity and is based on a poem attributed to sixth-century Irish poet St. Dallán Forgaill. It is commonly sung to the Irish folk tune “Slane”. Irish musician Van Morrison popularized the hymn on his album “Hymns to the Silence” (1991).

Continuing my study of Liesbet Boudens’ caps, this is graphite pencil, paste paper, and pastel.
