Scribbled Lives Week 18—Comforting Thoughts

This quote has been pinging around in my subconscious for some time.

This seemed like a good time to try painting rocks. Watercolour, Pigma micron, sumi ink on Saunders watercolour paper.

I uncovered a sheet of Rives BFK in my paper stash. Here’s a second—kinda foggy-looking—version. Experimented by laying down a background of watercolour graphite before painting and lettering.
