Scribbled Lives Week 50—Grand Finale
I reached a significant milestone. This is the last prompt for 2020, a strange and enlightening year.
Members were asked to review the preceding 49 pieces they completed and to create one final piece that would complete their collection.
A year ago I took a risk. By channelling Eleanor Roosevelt—who said, “Do one thing every day that scares you.”—I signed up for a year of Scribbled Lives. Of course, I never dreamed current events would arouse so many emotions—nor that the group’s activity would prove so therapeutic. On dark days their artwork and comments lifted my spirits. I would not have made it to Week 50 without their momentum!
We are a community of diverse artists from many places around the world. What we have in common is a desire to communicate using beautiful letters.

I was not planning to continue with Scribbled Lives beyond one year, but I fear I’m hooked now. See you in January!
Oh, thanks, Eleanor, you’ve never steered me wrong.
Well done! Thank you for sharing the year of this project’s designs.
Glad you enjoyed the diverse and varied prompt responses. They were both a challenge and joy to create!
