Several weeks ago, stories surfaced as you shared photos and adventures of your winter weathergrams that survived the season—or not!
In December, my husband and I hung several around our property. The weathergram on the hydrangea at the front entrance greeted our only visitors this past winter—mail carriers and delivery drivers.

The tail end was lost during a rainstorm. A week later the rest of it took flight…in a manner of speaking…

Yesterday, my husband went to examine the damaged motion detector light under the eaves. I got up close to investigate a tag fluttering in the breeze.

It looks like our resident robins have a nestergram for their front entrance! What they really wanted was the string, but sometimes you have to take the whole thing that comes with the part you want…
