Scribbled Lives Week 47—One-of-a-Kind Bag 

Ready for my next trip to the market!

This week’s prompt called us to decorate a bag with letters. We were free to choose the bag style, material, tools, and text. A plain canvas bag is transformed into a colourful shopping tote.

Pébéo Setacolor and ¼” flat brush on canvas. 

The unprimed canvas was highly absorbent, so each letter was painted with at least three layers of acrylic. That provided the perfect opportunity to experiment with blending colours. “Lillypilly” is my favourite! Besides, it’s fun to say.
