Face Masks 101

Let’s face it, none of us really wants to wear a mask unless it’s comfortable and provides peace of mind. That means it needs to be wearable, washable, and breathable.

Wearable

  • Designed by a nurse with protection and comfort in mind.
  • Handcrafted with attention to detail using quality materials. Seams and edges are reinforced with topstitching.
  • Masks comprise 3 layers: 1 outer layer and 1 lining sewn from pre-washed 100% cotton. Sandwiched between them is a non-woven polyester layer to minimize passage of particulate matter.
  • Please note these face coverings are not medically graded but can help reduce the spread of viruses through droplet transmission.
  • Round laces are fully adjustable, comfortable on the ears, and minimize obstruction with hearing aids.
  • When untied, mask hangs securely around your neck to minimize contamination and loss.
  • Available in men’s, women’s, and teen’s sizes.
  • Become more comfortable as they are worn, just like your favourite jeans.

Washable

  • Machine wash on gentle cycle in warm or cold water. I recommend hanging to dry to prolong its life; however, it’s dryer safe for your convenience.
  • Reusable—less landfill waste.

Breathable

  • Nose wire helps shape the mask tightly around the bridge of your nose. If it’s uncomfortable to breathe, loosen mask slightly underneath the chin but not so loose that particulate matter can enter.
  • If your glasses fog up, mask needs to be sealed more tightly on the bridge of your nose—reshape nose wire.
