In December 2020, I tucked weathergrams into my Christmas cards. Two years later, I never expected to be telling tales about them.
My brother and sister-in-law hung this one in their backyard for a year before returning it to our yard where it festooned the back hedge—until it disappeared.

Earlier this month, my husband was clearing the leaves when he raked up a bit of calligraphy—the remnant of a weathergram. Amazingly, it survived two years, just as we have braved a most unusual period in history.
Remarkably, the entire message is intact. Hmmm…interesting that the most important part—the heart of the weathergram—survived the elements.
We’re stronger than we think.
